And just like that … “Sex and the City” fanatics have been left fooled.

Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon have revealed they filmed fake scenes of the highly anticipated “SATC” spinoff “And Just Like That …” in order to confuse lovers of the iconic TV show.

The actresses made the admission during a sit-down interview on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Tuesday, just two days before the reboot’s Thursday premiere on HBO Max.

Filming of the series has taken place in New York City over the past five months, with fans trying to deduce spoilers from paparazzi photos taken during production.

But Davis, 56, and Nixon, 55, have now revealed that some scenes won’t actually make the final cut.

“There is so much secrecy around this,” Colbert stated. “Do you worry about spoilers?”

“We worry constantly,” Nixon answered, as Davis concurred.

“There are rumors that you guys actually shot fake scenes around New York to throw people off the scent,” Colbert then claimed.

“Yes. Yes, definitely!” Davis exclaimed as Nixon chimed in, “Absolutely not,” with a laugh, before Nixon conceded with a nod: “It might be true.”

“We want the fans to enjoy the show,” Davis elaborated. “I think that’s the important part.” Nixon then elaborated: “We don’t want them to know — we don’t want them to read the Cliff Notes beforehand.”

During the sit-down with Colbert, Davis and Nixon also paid tribute to late co-star Willie Garson, who died in September following a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Garson — who played Stanford Blatch on “Sex and the City” — filmed three episodes of the reboot before his untimely death.

“Willie was just a person who just lightened any situation that he was in and just would have you in stitches within, you know, a minute of coming into a conversation,” Nixon stated.

“He was a person with incredible stories, like show business stories and stories about his own zany life and his family that he comes from and the family that he created.”

Davis chimed in: “He was so full of joy and so incredibly brilliant and smart and really … even being sick, which we didn’t know about in the beginning, he still brought so much joy.”

The actresses’ tributes come just a day after “Sex and the City” co-star Chris Noth revealed he didn’t know Garson was battling cancer.

“The last time I saw him was on set and I kick myself because I didn’t really get a chance to talk to him,” Noth lamented. “He was extraordinarily fun and funny and there’s nothing to say but that it’s heartbreaking.”
