Former Alabama football quarterbacks Tua Tagovailoa and Jalen Hurts both offered condolences to the family of the 23-year-old female who died Tuesday in Las Vegas following a car crash that involved former Alabama receiver and then-Las Vegas Raider receiver Henry Ruggs III.

“My heart goes out to the families affected by what happened … you’d never think this guy could hurt a soul,” Tagovailoa said at a news conference Wednesday.

“I give my condolences to the family of the young lady that passed away and it’s unfortunate to see a situation like that unfold. I’ll just kind of leave it at that. It hurts my heart for everybody involved,” Hurts said at a news conference Wednesday.
