Peterson was found lying on the street outside her residence on Foch Blvd. near 155th St. in South Jamaica around 6:20 a.m. with multiple gunshot wounds to her chest and back, police said. She was rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

The NYPD released a 25-second video clip of the unidentified gunman, who is approximately 5-foot-10 with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a black hooded bubble jacket and blue jeans, police said.
The surveillance video — which shows him squeezing off shots — was taken from the incident location, cops said. The clip also shows a vehicle used by the suspect that was obtained from a residential security camera located in the vicinity of the 155th St. and 116th Drive, cops said.
